Merci

Thanks to Boxer Rescue Ontario and Canine Wellness Centre, Mercy keeps a therapy schedule.
The same can be said for friend and fellow BRO foster dog, Brownie.
Some of what goes on can be seen below.
Here she is all wrapped up and showing off...
Experimenting with the idea of something to assist Mercy's posture and gait.
Her skeleton is so very bow-legged.
At approximately 6 years old, our little girl is beginning to experience
some arthritic change.  In particular, at her right shoulder which is causing discomfort.
So, Radial Shock Wave Therapy  has been added to her routine.
Shock wave is great for osteoarthritis (OA), muscle, tendon and ligament injuries.
Brownie takes a turn up on the magic table...
Mercy stands by in a show of support.
Brown Dog has all kind of OA.  His rehab. includes
shock wave, low level laser, alpha-stim, osteopathy, massage,
and just like Mercy:  swimming!
Many dogs go right to total relaxation on the treatment table at CWC.
Brownie is no exception.
Pain management should not go overlooked for senior dogs or otherwise.
There are so many ways we, as guardians, can help our canine companions.
Canine Wellness and Boxer Rescue make it happen for Brownie & Mercy.
Merci!
Sunny days, sharing some shade and a spot on the cool, cool grass.
Happy dogs.
