Blow wind, blow
Blow wind, blow
And go, mill, go:
That the miller
May grind his corn;
That the baker may take it,
And into rolls make it
And bring us some
Hot in the morn.
And go, mill, go:
That the miller
May grind his corn;
That the baker may take it,
And into rolls make it
And bring us some
Hot in the morn.
Lots of wind in Mercy's neighborhood this week.
All manner of things blown about, house creaking & shaking,
tree branches falling from the sky, windows a-rattling.
tree branches falling from the sky, windows a-rattling.
What's a small frightened dog to do?
Why scuttle to a safe spot, of course.
Let the hubbub pass.
How about a biscuit while we wait, please?
Let the hubbub pass.
How about a biscuit while we wait, please?

There was a little girl
There was a little girl,
Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good,
She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.

Keep young and beautiful
A little health update on our small foster friend.
Mercy paid a visit to her personal physician last month
only to discover that she had a bladder infection
and was passing crystals.
Nana Ellie (on the floor in the hoodie)
was there in a show of support.
After a cycle of antibiotics, a follow up urinalysis came back clean
and she was returned to wellness in full.
That's not to say that her foster home can let go the supervision
needed for Mercy and her "condition".
Here's a super cute and spot on reminder...
Mercy made fast friends with a neighbourhood dog called Scuba.
Look at our girl go!
While she would have loved to spend the entire afternoon
racetrack driving with her new pal
(Mercy is much much speedier than you think),
foster mom was the party pooper whereby
Mercy/mummy were first to depart the stupendous playdate
in order to avoid over doing it.
in order to avoid over doing it.
Indeed, later that evening, Mercy-bear's little limbs were tender.
Pain medicine is always at the ready should it be necessary.
It's not often that it is since her people know her
well enough by now to recognize how much she can and cannot do.
A balancing act, to be sure... Mercy loves taking on any
and all activity included in that of a dog's life.
It's up to her foster family to keep track that she doesn't
unintentionally hurt herself.
Foster siblings are a big help too...
Count big brother, Colby, in for creating a dog pile
and sleeping one off.
and sleeping one off.

Happy New Year!
No doubt about it; Mercy has had a good year. Many thanks to the little alligator's friends, family, fans, and followers. You have made her happiness possible. All dogs are good dogs and should be so lucky. Canine Rescue gave Mercy a chance and did she ever run with it! May the good times continue.
Though she wasn't awake as the clock struck midnight,
Mercy kept busy for most of the evening on January 31.
Welcome 2012!

'Tis the season
Looking for a last minute gift idea?
Consider a charity donation in someone"s name.
And which would Mercy recommend, you ask?
Why, Boxer Rescue Ontario, of course.
Contributions are greatly appreciated.
It makes a difference. Just ask Mercy.
Or her foster brother and fellow BRO dog, Colby.
For the friend or family member who has everything...
Give the gift of a charity donation.
Keep Boxer Rescue Ontario at the ready for helping needy boxers.
Think it over.
Thanks!
