What's Up Doc?
Recently, Mercy paid a pop in visit to her personal physician. An opportunity to ask, What's up, Doc? as well as to show off all of the progress she has made over time. The following notes are a summary about Mercy's health as described by her Veterinarian:
All of Mercy's joints were affected by the disease ** which caused growth deformaties and swellings. At first Mercy's joints were painful (Sept. 2010)
but the bones have remodelled in the last year and she has good function with little pain.
...Recommend continued physical rehabilitation for good function and muscle tone as Mercy has responded extremely well.
That means continued time in the pool for our Mercy-bear.
Onward with the swim time, sweet alligator!
Good, good girl!!

And, action!
The question of Mercy's mobility comes up quite a little bit. Can she walk? Look how bow-legged she is?! Poor thing. Is that how she walks naturally?
Not only does little Ms. Mercy-bear walk, she does many things. She runs, she dances, she leaps, climbs and shakes it. Here are just one minute and fourteen seconds of our girl in action:

Today is the day
On September 20th of 2010, Mercy landed at her permanent foster home.
A wee boxer estimated to be in the neighbourhood of one year old.
Long since exceeding all expectations as far as health and happiness
are concerned, a promotion is in order. Yes, yes?
Please see below, Mercy-bear, the two year old.
Happy Birthday, Mercy!
May there be many more ahead for celebration.

The breeze, the trees, the honeybees
Let not Mercy's charitable work go unnoticed. She's part of it.
Most recently, she has donated her time as canine representation at
Showing the campers some of the things that go on at
First things first, the meet & greet and the Mercy dance.
A little ball work with Tania and a camper assistant.
Showing off her mad swimming skills along with her pal, Reggie.
Many laps for the many kids. She can do it.
Kindness is the greatest wisdom.
Mercy is one smart cookie, okay.
